Live stream production technician Confidential Kent, WA Job Details Part-time $150 a week 11 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Video shooting Content creation Attention to detail Full Job Description Our church is searching for Live Stream Production Technician to help with weekly Sunday morning live streaming of our worship service, in addition to other events such as funerals, etc. The Live Stream Production Technician must be reliable and resourceful, and must work well with other people who are not necessarily technically savvy to produce engaging and immersive online worship experiences. All productions will be created in collaboration with the Pastor, Director of Music, Office Ministries Manager, worship teams, and other volunteers. This position provides exciting creative opportunities for someone who seeks to excel and grow in the field of social media streaming production. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Starting, managing, editing and uploading the recording and/or livestream
• Inserting names, titles, hymn lyrics and graphics into the recording and/or livestream
• Controlling camera views and angles
• Hosting the live chat during the worship service
• Editing videos in post-production and upload to social media and the Kent Lutheran Church website
• Maintaining the operation of Audio-Visual equipment, including pre-service operational checks, updates, and preventative maintenance
• Offering recommendations and assistance regarding additional equipment needs and purchases.
• Resolving technical or equipment problems, drawing upon outside contracted support as needed and authorized by the supervisor
• If unavailable to work any given required day, must be able to provide a substitute who is suitably equipped and prepared to step in

Qualifications:

• Experience with or demonstrated interest in live video production (can include social media like Facebook Live)
• Experience with or demonstrated interest in computer-based Audio-Visual production, recording, and streaming
• Display an artistic eye for video, shooting, editing, etc. with an excellent eye for framing and composition
• Detail-oriented with strong planning skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effortlessly take direction from others
• Calm and clear-headed under pressure with an ability to problem solve quickly
• Comfortable working in a diverse, faith-based community
• Reliable, timely, and communicative
• Have a working knowledge of and experience with Audio-Visual equipment
• Exhibit an ability to troubleshoot technical issues and assist with installation and maintenance of hardware and software
• Exhibit an ability to responsibly interact with social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube.
• Exhibit an ability to coach and train substitutes
• Be flexible when necessary to put in additional hours for planning and preparing camera angles and people placement for special services
• Able to work as a team member with a positive attitude
• Perform the functions of this position in a professional manner and work closely with the Pastor, Director of Music, and worship teams to prepare a meaningful worship experience both live and online
• Work well with volunteers who may not have knowledge of what is required for putting together effective video presentations
