Description:

Strong agency copywriter/content writer who can operate independently and bring some strategy to the table. This job will have the following responsibilities: Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading fundamentals Agency or fast-paced, multi-client/stakeholder environment strongly preferred Self-starter who can ramp quickly with limited hand-holding Proactive and comfortable asking thoughtful questions Excellent attention to detail, including formatting, naming conventions, capitalization and editorial consistency Able to understand the bigger picture, not just complete assigned writing tasks Comfortable providing content/creative strategy recommendations Able to explain why a certain message, format or approach would work better Strong relationship management and collaboration skills Comfortable receiving somewhat ambiguous requests and clarifying what is actually needed Able to simplify complex information/messaging Genuine interest in the work/subject matter; retirement or financial services experience is helpful but not the priority Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to qualified candidates who meet eligibility requirements.
