Detailed Job Description/Responsibilities:
Social-First Concepting:

Develop original social-first concepts for brands, campaigns, partnerships, and cultural momentsGenerate big, disruptive ideas with the potential to travel beyond a single post or platformConcept and create work for a range of client brands as well as FlyteVus own social presenceTurn larger campaign ideas into social ideas that people choose to watch, share, save, or talk about

Creative Development & Making:

Bring select ideas to life through shooting, editing, design, AI, and emerging creative toolsWrite scripts, hooks, headlines, social copy, captions, treatments, and whatever else helps sell or make the ideaPush past the first idea and keep going until the work reaches a more surprising, ownable answerMove quickly when culture creates an opportunity, without using speed as an excuse for mediocre work

Cultural Fluency & Collaboration:

Think across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, , X/Twitter, , Pinterest, and emerging platforms, understanding the audiences, behaviors, and creative language of eachStay attuned to platform shifts, audience behaviors, creators, conversations, and cultural signals, then turn those observations into original creative rather than simply chasing trendsPitch ideas clearly and confidently to internal teams and clientsConstantly think about and pitch creative opportunities beyond official briefsCollaborate with the larger creative team on broader briefs and with the right specialists to make ambitious ideas real

Develop and grow knowledge of assigned client businesses and their competitive landscapesMaintain a pulse on internet culture, creators, music, pop culture, entertainment, technology, and platform developmentsFile and organize needed documents within agency software and systemsHandle and safeguard confidential and proprietary informationProactively manage client expectations and deliver exemplary customer serviceBe willing to work during non-business hours, including weekends and additional hours beyond the 40-hour work week as neededAssist with on-site activation and fulfillment of client programs, which require that employees:



Must be able to travel without restriction, including with less than a days noticeMust be physically able to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and load/unload, set up, and tear down as neededMust pass a background check

Location Requirements:

Candidates must be based in Los Angeles, New York, or Nashville. Los Angeles- and New York-based employees may work fully remotely. Nashville-based employees will follow a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two remote days per week. To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The criteria below represent the required knowledge, skill, experience, and ability. 36 years of creative experience, ideally within an agency, brand, social, entertainment, or culture-driven environmentA portfolio that shows strong concepts, unexpected ideas, and work with a clear point of viewRelentless curiosity: a drive to explore new tools, follow unexpected threads, and notice things other people missCreative hunger and a commitment to making great work, getting better, trying things, and pushing an idea beyond what was asked forStrong conceptual thinking and the ability to generate many genuinely different ideasA sharp understanding of internet culture, entertainment, creators, brands, and how different audiences behave onlineStrong working knowledge of major social platforms and the emerging platforms the industry will be talking about nextExcellent writing skills with a strong sense of voice, humor, tone, and clarityStrong taste and an eye for visual storytellingA maker mentality and comfort getting hands-on to figure out how to make something greatComfort experimenting with AI and emerging creative technology as part of the creative process, not just as a productivity shortcutOpenness to feedback and zero preciousness about making an idea betterExcellent communication and time-management skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks with varying deadlines and operate in fast-paced, hard-deadline environmentsEntrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity
