This position works closely with artists, our internal team, customers, and fabric mills to take designs from initial development through presentation and production. Key Responsibilities Develop and prepare colorways for new and existing textile designs. Work with artists on new artwork, design direction, revisions, and corrections. Make artwork changes, color adjustments, and fixes as needed. Understand textile printing requirements, including repeats, scale, color separation, and screen and digital printing. Prepare artwork and files for submission to fabric mills. Review strike-offs and printed samples for color, scale, repeat, and overall accuracy. Print completed designs and prepare physical artwork sheets for company records and copyright purposes. Maintain organized files of artwork, colorways, revisions, approvals, and copyright records. Work with the team to create customer design presentations and open line presentations. Help develop new collections, color stories, and design concepts. Ensure artwork is presented professionally and is ready for textile production. Communicate with artists, mills, and the internal team throughout the artwork development process. Qualifications Strong artistic eye and excellent sense of color. Experience in textile design, surface pattern design, graphic design, or a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Understanding of textile repeats, color separation, scale, and fabric printing. Ability to modify and prepare artwork for production. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple artwork and colorway projects at the same time.
