Full Job Description Presentation Art Director Overview:

Decca Design is a creative agency that partners with leading technology companies. We help clients bring complex ideas to life through strategic planning, messaging, presentation design, digital experiences, multimedia, and creative campaigns. As Presentation Art Director, you'll work closely with the Creative Director/President and Associate Creative Directors to shape the creative direction of presentation projects and provide guidance to designers as needed. You'll have the opportunity to take complex technical content and transform it into presentations that are clear, compelling, and visually engaging. You'll work with a talented, collaborative team on challenging projects for technology brands. No two projects are exactly alike, and you'll have the opportunity to influence both the creative work and the way we approach presentation design as a team. This is a role for someone who can think conceptually, design beautifully, solve problems, and make complex information compelling. What you'll do: Lead the design and creative direction of presentation projects from concept through completion Translate complex or technical content into clear, compelling visual presentations Design and develop well-structured and functional PowerPoint and Google Slides templates Create strong layouts using typography, imagery, composition, visual hierarchy and thoughtful design Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail Conduct image research and make creative edits, revisions, and refinements Collaborate with Creative Director, Associate Creative Directors, Account Managers, and other team members to develop effective creative solutions Provide creative direction and feedback to team members and freelance presentation designers as needed Ensure work follows client brand guidelines and established visual standards Participate in client meetings and presentations as appropriate Contribute to and help evolve Decca's creative and production best practices incorporating AI along the way Stay current with presentation design trends, tools, and best practices What you bring A strong portfolio showcasing sophisticated presentation and visual design work Expert-level understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to make complex information easy to understand and engaging Strong command of typography, layout, composition, imagery, and visual hierarchy Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Google Slides The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing deadlines Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong attention to detail and a high bar for creative quality 8+ years of relevant professional experience A BA/BS in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field Work arrangement: Full time Primarily remote Occasional on-site meetings in San Jose Job details: $95K-$110K/year 401(k) Medical, vision and dental insurance, including life and long-term disability Paid time off Paid holidays If you're an experienced art director who loves turning ideas into exceptional presentations, we'd love to see your work.
