Seasonal/Temporary , Join the Mitchell College Athletics team and gain hands-on experience with the behind-the-scenes operations of college athletics. Game Day Assistants play an important role in creating a successful experience for student-athletes, spectators, and guests at Mitchell home athletic events. This position provides students with the opportunity to explore different areas of athletic operations, build practical skills, and gain experience that can be added to a résumé. Assignments may vary by sport, event, and student interest.
Responsibilities:
Game Day Assistants may support one or more of the following areas: Assist with live statistics and game information Operate scoreboards and game clocks Support photography and social media coverage Assist with writing and game-day communications Serve as a ball runner or provide other on-field/court support Assist with broadcasting and live streaming Help with event setup, breakdown, and other game-day operational needs Provide a welcoming and professional experience for spectators, teams, and guests Perform other game-day duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Mitchell College student enrolled at full-time Good academic standing. Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study (FWS) Dependable and able to arrive on time for assigned events Willingness to learn and take on a variety of game-day responsibilities Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Availability to work home athletic events, which may include evenings and weekends Physical Demands This position may require standing for extended periods of time and moving throughout athletic facilities during events. Some assignments may require light setup or movement of game-day equipment.
