weddings + events•4.2 Hollywood, FL Job Details Part-time | Contract $40•$50 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Wedding DJing In-person customer service Event lighting equipment management Full Job Description We are seeking experienced wedding DJs to join our team and help create unforgettable celebrations for our couples and their guests. This position involves much more than playing music. Our DJs also serve as the master of ceremonies, guiding the reception, coordinating important moments, making announcements and keeping guests engaged throughout the celebration. We are not looking for DJs who are simply trying to fill occasional open dates. We want team members who are interested in building a long-term relationship with our company, participating in ongoing training and consistently representing our standards at every event. Requirements Experience performing at a minimum of 10 weddings Must own professional audio and lighting equipment Must have at least two professional speakers, a laptop, DJ controller and wireless microphone Extensive knowledge of wedding receptions and formalities Strong public-speaking and communication skills Outgoing, energetic and professional personality Dependable, punctual and able to remain calm under pressure Polished appearance and strong customer-service skills Reliable vehicle and transportation Availability for most Saturday evenings Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply Responsibilities Meet with couples before their wedding to review timelines, music preferences, introductions, formal dances and special requests Arrive on time and professionally dressed Set up and test all necessary equipment before the event Coordinate with venue staff, planners and other wedding professionals Make clear, confident announcements Manage introductions, toasts, formal dances, cake cutting and other reception activities Read the crowd and select music that keeps the dance floor active Follow the couple's requested music and event preferences Maintain a professional, positive attitude throughout the event Ongoing training and team support are provided. Compensation Pay starts at $40•50 per hour, depending on experience. We also have a robust advancement program.
