Master of Ceremonies — Century Village (Pembroke Pines) Independent Contractor / Per Diem Century Village, a private theater in Pembroke Pines, is looking for a dedicated and professional Master of Ceremonies to join our entertainment team. About the Role As MC, you'll deliver all show announcements from backstage, behind the curtain. You'll be the voice that sets the tone for the evening — energetic, polished, and welcoming to everyone in the building, from artists and agents to guests and staff. What You'll Do Deliver announcements backstage with a professional, engaging speaking voice Work closely with the Sound Technician, Entertainment team, and venue staff to ensure a smooth, hospitable experience for artists, agents, and guests Assist the Sound Technician as needed Help set up the hospitality area for catering What We're Looking For Charisma and high energy — someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with people A professional speaking voice and professional appearance/dress Strong collaboration skills; comfortable working closely with a team Reliable transportation Spanish fluency preferred, not required Schedule & Pay Evenings, most weekends Paid per diem Employment Type This position is for an independent contractor/freelancer (self-employed). Contractors are responsible for their own income and self-employment taxes and will receive a Form 1099, not a W-2.
