Job Description

Majestic Event Group is building a dependable roster of event DJs and DJ-MCs for weddings, corporate events, birthdays, and private celebrations.
Live mixing is required:
cueing, beat matching, phrasing, EQ, and gain control. Playlist-only operators are not eligible for solo DJ assignments.
Equipment You must provide:
  • A working DJ controller or mixer
  • Laptop and charger
  • Licensed DJ software
  • Professional headphones
  • An offline, multi-genre music library with clean edits
  • Backup playback
  • Any needed proprietary adapters Majestic provides PA speakers and stands, microphones, basic lighting, a facade, and standard cabling. Schedule and compensation
  • Part-time, as-needed; no guaranteed hours
  • Assignments are usually 5-8 paid hours and vary by event
  • Friday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays, occasional weekdays and holidays
  • Some events end after midnight
  • Paid shadow/practical training at $25 per hour
  • Solo assignments start at $30 per hour after clearance
  • Lead wedding DJ/MC assignments pay up to $40 per hour after additional wedding clearance Requirements
  • Reliable transportation throughout Metro Atlanta
  • Professional communication
  • Confident microphone announcements and ability to follow a client timeline
  • Weekend and late-night availability
  • Willingness to complete a practical audition and paid shadow training before solo assignments Audition Qualified candidates will complete a 20-30 minute live mix and provide an equipment list, primary genres, availability and travel range, and a sample link if available.
Pay:
$25.00
  • $40.

Can you demonstrate live mixing using cueing, beat matching, phrasing, EQ, and gain control—not only playlist playback? List the equipment you own and bring to events, including your backup playback option and any adapters. Provide a link to a recent live mix, performance clip, or portfolio, if available. Which genres and event types are you strongest in? Do you maintain an offline, multi-genre music library that includes clean edits? Are you comfortable making professional microphone announcements and following a client timeline? Do you have reliable transportation throughout Metro Atlanta and the ability to work events that end after midnight? What is your Friday, Saturday, Sunday, holiday, and occasional weekday availability? Do you understand this is part-time, as-needed work with no guaranteed number of assignments or hours?
