Based in Overland Park, Kansas, Creative Carnivals has strived to be a one-stop party rental company for over twenty years. We offer a huge variety of entertainment options, from bounce houses to water slides, mechanical bulls to cotton candy machines, face painters to stilt walkers. We're looking for a dedicated seasonal employee to join our event setup crew, with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right person. Responsibilities include pulling and loading equipment for events, setting up equipment, and working with customers to provide the best service possible for their event.

Essential Job Duties:

• Cleaning and maintaining inflatables, games, and food service machines
• Reading a load list and loading inflatables and carnival games into company vehicles
• Work with clients to deliver, set up, and tear down school carnivals, company picnics, church festivals, and private events as part of a team
• Unloading equipment after events and returning things to their proper location in the warehouse
• Occasionally monitor equipment to ensure customer's safety at events at $25/hr

At CC&E you might be setting up a school carnival on Monday and driving our trackless train for the Mayor's Christmas Tree lighting on Tuesday.

Job Requirements:

• Reliable transportation
• Must be willing to submit to a background check
• Must be able to speak, read, and take direction in English
• Able to work independently, as well as with others as part of a team
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 75 pounds on your own
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, reach, stand and squat for 8-10 hours in a variety of conditions such as warm and cold temperatures and inclement weather
• Must be available evenings and weekends during peak season based on event schedule
• Overtime sometimes required during peak season based on event schedule
