Advance Lead NYS Executive Chamber Salary:

$90,000-$100,000

Location:

New York, NY Serving in the Executive Chamber of the Office of Governor Kathy Hochul, the Advance Lead is a collaborative and active team member, responsible for managing relationships between stakeholders for on-the-ground execution of the Governor's public engagements. In this role, we are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail, ability to adapt well to a variety of situations, and a problem solver. Duties Help facilitate Advance logistics for events throughout the State of New York. Organize event details for the Governor's public appearances. Serve as liaison between the Executive Chamber, event stakeholders and the Governor's State Police detail at all public events. Coordinate event details and setup with relevant State Agencies. Manage relationships and equipment orders with vendors throughout New York State. Work with Regional Teams and State Agencies to coordinate staffing for Governor events. Brief the Governor and her team at events. Manage operations of event/meeting spaces within the NYC office. Oversee inventory of Executive Chamber gifts, staff apparel, and other relevant ceremonial pieces. Perform advance travel and site visits throughout New York State as needed. Supervise Advance Assistants as they travel and plan events throughout the state. Perform related duties as required - valid driver's license and background check required.

Minimum Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in government event management and logistics coordination At least 1 year of experience staffing a principal Bachelor's Degree preferred Prior experience in advance operations preferred
