Job Description

Some jobs put you in a cubicle. This one puts you in the middle of the party. Flash Me Maine Photo Booth Rentals is hiring one person for a role with two sides to it. On event nights you're running our photo booths at weddings, corporate parties, proms, and fundraisers across Maine. During the week you're building the book of business that keeps those event nights full. If you like people and you like hitting a number, keep reading.
Side One:
Photo Booth Attendant ($25/hour) You show up, set up, and run the booth. You get guests laughing, you keep the line moving, you hand out prints, and you pack it all back down at the end of the night.
What that looks like:
Load, transport, and set up booth equipment Greet guests and pull them into the fun Troubleshoot on the fly and keep the night running smoothly Represent Flash Me Maine like it's your own business Break down, load out, and get the gear home clean
Side Two:
Event Sales ($16/hour plus commission) Twelve scheduled hours a week, worked from home and out in the field. You're reaching out to the people who book us. Corporate event planners. Wedding planners. Venue coordinators. HR managers. School activity directors. Local business owners. This is a real sales seat with real numbers attached. Once you're up to speed, a typical week looks like: 25 new prospects contacted 8 new leads entered in our booking system 2 in-person meetings or venue visits 3 proposals sent Everything gets logged in Check Cherry the same day. We review your pipeline together for fifteen minutes every Monday. You'll always know where you stand, and so will we. The Pay $25/hour for every event hour $16/hour for your 12 scheduled sales hours 10% commission on the value of every new booking you source and close 5% on repeat business and on inbound leads you close Commission paid once the client's final payment clears Book a $1,200 wedding and that's $120 on top of your hourly. Hit three a month and it adds up fast. The Schedule Sales hours are 12 a week, year round, in blocks we set together. Event hours are on top of that and they move with the season. Expect 15 to 30 hours total during peak wedding and holiday party months, and lighter weeks in the slow stretch. Most events land Friday and Saturday nights. We'd rather tell you that up front than surprise you in February. What We're Looking For You're outgoing and you actually enjoy talking to strangers You're comfortable being measured on activity every week Reliable vehicle and a clean driving record Comfortable lifting and moving equipment up to 50 pounds Organized enough to follow up without being reminded Available most weekends during event season 18 or older Nice To Have Sales, hospitality, or event experience Photography or A/V background Existing connections in the Maine wedding or corporate event world One More Thing After 90 days, the right person gets a company-sponsored seat at a local BNI chapter. That's a room full of business owners every single week and a network you keep for the rest of your career. Not many part-time jobs hand you that. How To Apply Apply here and include a short note telling us about a time you talked someone into something. Attach a resume if you have one. If you're the kind of person who lights up a room, we want to hear from you. Flash Me Maine is an equal opportunity employer.
