Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Disc Jockey (DJ) to create an unforgettable atmosphere at various events, including weddings, parties, and corporate functions. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for music, excellent communication skills, and the ability to read the crowd to keep the energy high. As a DJ, you will be responsible for curating playlists, mixing tracks live, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties Select and play music that aligns with the event's theme and audience preferences. Operate sound equipment and ensure optimal audio quality throughout the event. Engage with guests through public speaking to introduce songs, make announcements, and encourage participation. Collaborate with event planners to understand specific requirements and tailor the music selection accordingly. Promote upcoming events through marketing efforts on social media and other platforms. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests and maintaining a positive atmosphere. Assist with heavy lifting of equipment during setup and breakdown of events. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while performing at events. Qualifications Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and guests. Experience/confidence in public speaking to address audiences during events. Knowledge of various music genres and trends to cater to diverse audiences. Customer service experience is highly desirable. Ability to market oneself effectively to attract new clients and opportunities. Familiarity with dance music culture is a plus for creating an energetic environment.
