Job Description

Looking for a solo, desert-hardened DP/Drone Operator with a personal owner-operator package for a stylized narrative music video. Raw, handheld, run-and-gun footprint with a French New Wave/Dogme 95 ethos. Badlands meets

Mad Max:

Fury Road vibes. Shooting October 13th in the Lancaster/Palmdale area with a sunset climax at El Mirage Dry Lake.

Crew & Setup:

Hyper-lean 3-person footprint (Director/Lead, Co-Star, DP/Drone Op). Moving fast between locations using mostly natural light, lightweight portable LEDs, and dynamic handheld/aerial movement.

Requirements:

Camera Package:

4K cinema camera setup (Sony FX3/FX6, RED, ARRI, Canon C70, or similar) with fast glass and basic wireless audio/monitoring setup.

Drone Package:

FAA Part 107 license required. 4K drone setup for dedicated sunset/desert aerial sequences.

Post:

Data offload to producer-provided hard drives at wrap (Director is also Lead Editor).

Pay:

$1,000 / 12-hour Day (Guaranteed) $250-$500 Kit Fee (commensurate with camera + drone package provided) Please provide a link to your DP reel and recent narrative or cinematic music video work.
