Drone Operator - Police Internal Only Salary $98,342.40 - $122,657.60 Annually Location Police Department Burnsville, MN Job Type Specialty Assignment Job Number 2026-00414 Department Police Opening Date 03/25/2026 Closing Date 4/8/2026 11:59 PM Central Description Benefits Position Details This position will provide drone technology for the City of Burnsville. You will become an FAA certified drone pilot for emergency response and operate within department policy and Federal FAA guidelines. Learn more about the Drone Operator here How you'll use your strengths every day This position will support the City of Burnsville with UAV and responding to and effectively handling police calls for assistance on and off duty. This position will maintain knowledge of law enforcement developments and changes in related laws and ordinances including drone operation. What you'll bring to help you be successful Must be a full- time police officer employed by the City of Burnsville and off of FTO Please submit letter of intent to indicate interest.
