Job Description:
SUMMARY Provides instructional training related to the Drone program for the Public Safety Training Center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for providing instruction and preparing lesson plans for established curriculum Delivers training related to the Drone Training program Continually promotes students' development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, professionalism, customer service, computation, problem solving, and decision-making Maintains accurate, up-to-date records of student academic and attendance performance Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree Significant related experience may substitute for education Minimum of four years UAS operations experience and knowledge of FAA regulations Advanced communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and organizational skills Demonstrated proficiency in Word Processing and PowerPoint Presentation software, as well as Internet and Email basic skills Ability to assess and grade the progress of students Advanced communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and organizational skills Possess sensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of a diverse population

Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or a related field

Special Note:
This is a Part-Time Non-Bargaining Unit Position, with the following
Set Rate of Pay:
$25.00/ hour. Pooled Position - If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College, as outlined in 3354:1-40-01.1 Recruitment and Selection Procedure .
