Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Revit Modeler who is eager to expand their knowledge, develop new skills, and grow within the Scan-to-BIM industry. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with point cloud data, as-built documentation, and Revit modeling across a variety of project types. Job Summary We're looking for a full-time BIM Specialist / Scan Technician for a hybrid role that combines fieldwork with remote-based modeling. In-office training required.
This position involves:
Collecting data on-site using scanning equipment Processing point cloud data Setting up and developing Revit models Modeling architectural, structural, and MEP systems Performing quality control (QC) and ensuring delivery accuracy This is a remote-based role when not in the field, requiring strong self-management and communication skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work are essential.Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of full-time Revit experience Strong proficiency in BIM and Revit modeling Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage complex project requirements Ability to work independently in a remote environment while communicating effectivelyPreferred:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Experience with 3D laser scanning and point cloud processing (not required — we will train the right candidate) Familiarity with construction technology and sustainability practices Field Requirements Reliable transportation Willingness to travel (car and occasional flights) Comfortable working at heights (roofs, ladders) Comfortable working in tight or low-light conditions (crawlspaces, attics) Ability to carry up to 50 lbs (equipment, ladders, etc.) Willing to attend a 1-week training in Los Angeles if no prior scanning experience Drone license is a plus (Part 107).Work Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours/week Monday-Friday, with occasional early mornings or weekends Travel required across California and occasionally nationwideCompensation:
$35-$50/hour, depending on experience and skillsetBenefits:

This is a dynamic role with opportunities to travel across California and throughout the U.S. Our project footprint spans both coasts and beyond. Ideal candidates are adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a variety of environments. We also welcome independent contractors with their own scanning equipment and software to collaborate with us on a per-project basis.Legal authorization:
