Job Description

NOBS is a dentist-founded oral care brand making everyday oral care more thoughtful, approachable, and human. Down to Health is a health show featuring:
  • Ilon, the dentist behind NOBS
  • Calvin, NOBS CEO
  • TJ, Founder of The Outgoing Co We're looking for a resourceful, hands-on Content Lead to develop and oversee content across NOBS, our founder's platform @theNOBSdentist, and the Down to Health podcast.
We already have agencies and contractors supporting content production. What we need is someone who takes dedicated ownership: understands the audience, brings ideas to the table, develops those ideas into executable content, and works with our partners to get strong work across the finish line. You'll work directly with the founder and initially collaborate with our existing production partners. As you develop in the role, you'll help determine which capabilities we should build internally and where outside support adds the most value. This is not a strategy-only position, an administrative role, or a job where you personally edit every video. It is a role for someone who can think creatively, make decisions, and get things made. What you'll do Develop founder-led content. Turn the founder's expertise, opinions, experiences, and ideas into compelling content for @theNOBSdentist. Develop concepts, hooks, scripts, and formats that sound like a real person—not a generic brand account. Understand how content should differ across social channels. Turn performance insights into new creative. Study affiliate and creator content to understand which messages, demonstrations, and storytelling approaches resonate. Develop original scripts and adaptations based on those insights, then coordinate their production. Look beyond copying a successful video to understand what made it effective and what is worth testing next. Shape the podcast's editorial direction. Develop episode topics, guest criteria, interview angles, and outlines alongside the founder and hosts. Evaluate potential guests, prepare thoughtful questions, identify strong moments for clips, and direct episode titles and thumbnails. A separate coordination role is planned to handle outreach logistics, booking, and scheduling. Direct agencies, editors, and production partners. Write useful briefs, review drafts, give specific feedback, and maintain a consistent creative standard. Know when a piece needs a stronger opening, tighter pacing, clearer explanation, or a different approach. Make light edits and corrections when needed without becoming the primary editor for every deliverable. Lead creative preparation and filming. Arrive at recording sessions with a clear plan for what we need to capture. Help guide hosts and talent, improve material in the moment, and capture additional short-form or behind-the-scenes content when opportunities arise. Own the content plan and improve the output. Establish priorities, maintain a clear editorial calendar, and work with coordination support to keep projects moving. Review available performance data and use it to inform subsequent decisions. Flag clinical and product claims for founder review, and preserve the accuracy and context of expert commentary. Starting position on a trial basis with long term available once proven
