Essential Job Functions:
Review and edit intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, clarity, consistency, and adherence to established style guidelines. Ensure intelligence products comply with Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings, the DIA Style Guide, ICD 203, and applicable IC standards. Work closely with analysts and other intelligence professionals to improve the quality, accuracy, and readability of finished intelligence products. Ensure complex intelligence information is presented clearly and appropriately for a variety of audiences. Support editing and production requirements in a 24/7 operational environment.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance required. Experience reviewing and editing written intelligence products with a high degree of accuracy. Knowledge of Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings, DIA Style Guide, and ICD 203. Ability to support a 24/7 operational environment. One of the following education and experience combinations: Associate's degree and 8+ years of technical editing experience; Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of technical editing experience; or Master's degree and 2+ years of technical editing experience.
