Job Description Summary:
This position reports to the Director of, College Veterans Center and provides information/guidance to students and others in a friendly, service-oriented manner regarding the eligibility and processing of Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Education Benefits and the State of Texas Hazlewood Act Exemption. Designated Veterans Affairs Assistant at the Colleges Veterans Centers (Heritage, Windward & Oso Creek), and assists with other general activities as assigned. Some travel between Del Mar College Campuses may be required in response to departmental need.
Minimum Qualifications:
One (1) year of advanced study or training past the high school diploma or GED equivalency Six (6) months of related experience Any combination of related experience and education may be used.
Preferred Qualifications:
Veteran with Honorable or, General (Under Honorable Conditions) Discharge. Special Instructions to
