Candidate will understand fabrications and sewing construction. Sketch & Cad projects assigned by the sales team. Communicate technical changes with production, and help to coordinate product development from design through initial production.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • CAD's using illustrator
  • Recolor prints and graphic selection
  • Create Tech Packs using Excel document
  • Work closely with Production and Design on technical construction or fit issues
  • Review construction of garments and communicate to production of any sewing problems
  • Complete projects and initiatives as needed by sales and buyers
  • Work closely with sales team on buyer requests for product development
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Fashion Design, or experienced Fashion Design or related area
  • Knowledge of garment construction for knit & woven tops
  • Fluent in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to create Tech Packs
  • Sketching in Illustrator & CAD
  • 5 years designer experience Mens/Young Mens/Boys
  • Experience cadding Bodies w/ prints merchandising on cads
  • Well versed in Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Designing and product development
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to details
  • Motivated, positive attitude, and a team player
Pay:
$80,000.00
  • $90,000.
