As we continue to expand our design team, we're looking for an experienced Fashion Designer with exceptional taste, strong commercial instincts, and a proven ability to bring ideas to life. This role is ideal for someone who not only creates beautiful product but also understands how to execute great design into garments that fit well, merchandise well, and ultimately sell. Responsibilities Design seasonal collections across dresses, tops, bottoms, sweaters, and outerwear. Research runway, street style, retail, and cultural trends and translate them into original, commercially successful product. Develop seasonal concepts, color palettes, fabric direction, silhouettes, and styling details. Create detailed CADs, technical sketches, and presentation boards. Partner closely with merchandising, technical design, sourcing, and production throughout the product development process. Work directly with domestic and overseas factories to ensure design intent is maintained from development through production. Attend fittings and collaborate with Technical Design to refine fit, construction, and garment execution. Work closely with an in-house sample room/proto room , draping, fitting, and refining garments throughout the development process. Experience working hands-on with patternmakers and sample makers is essential. Ensure designs are not only creative but can be successfully executed into high-quality, commercially viable garments. Shop the market regularly and maintain a strong understanding of competitors, emerging trends, fabrics, trims, and new ideas. Present seasonal concepts and product direction with confidence and enthusiasm. Qualifications 5-10+ years of women's apparel design experience. Strong experience designing contemporary women's apparel. Proven ability to take a design from initial concept through development and into production. Experience working directly with in-house proto rooms, sample makers, and patternmakers to develop and refine product. Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrication, and finishing techniques. Excellent Adobe Illustrator and CAD skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple seasons and deadlines simultaneously. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to identify construction, fit, and costing challenges early in the design process and proactively develop solutions while preserving the original design intent. Passion for creating fashion that women love to wear. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with exceptional taste who understands how to balance creativity with commercial success. You have a strong eye for trend, proportion, fabrication, and styling, but you also know how to solve problems, refine details, and transform great ideas into garments that customers love. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment, are comfortable giving and receiving feedback, and take pride in seeing a product evolve from an initial sketch into a finished garment ready for the selling floor. Compansation will be discussed at interview.
