The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and a keen eye for aesthetics, enabling them to create stunning arrangements that meet customer needs. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. The Floral Designer will be responsible for crafting unique floral arrangements for various occasions while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Duties Design and create floral arrangements for special events, weddings, and everyday occasions. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that suit their needs. Maintain knowledge of current floral trends and techniques to ensure innovative designs. Manage inventory, including stocking flowers and supplies, and ensuring freshness and quality. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations and merchandising displays. Communicate effectively with customers, providing information on care instructions for floral products. Clean Up Other Tasks as Assigned Occasionally help with Social Media content Requirements Proven experience in floral design. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English. Familiarity with retail sales practices, including retail math and merchandising techniques. Basic Plant Knowledge Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the business needs. A passion for creativity and an eye for detail in design aesthetics.
