FLORAL DESIGN ASSISTANT / FLORAL PREP ASSISTANT

Kate Flowers LA is looking for a reliable and hardworking Floral Design Assistant to help with wedding and event floral preparation.

Responsibilities include:

Processing, cleaning and cutting fresh flowers Preparing buckets with water and flowers Cleaning vases, buckets and floral containers Preparing candles and other wedding décor Organizing and preparing supplies for events Assisting the floral designer with simple floral arrangements Loading, moving and relocating floral arrangements Carrying buckets filled with flowers and water Helping keep the floral studio and work area clean and organized Basic floral knowledge is a plus, but we are mainly looking for someone who is responsible, organized, careful, physically capable, and willing to learn. This is a hands-on position and requires the ability to lift and carry heavier buckets, boxes and floral arrangements.
