Responsibilities Create beautiful floral arrangements tailored to customer preferences and special occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Assist customers in selecting flowers and plants by providing expert advice on floral design, plant care, and seasonal trends. Maintain the floral department's appearance through proper merchandising, stocking fresh flowers, and organizing displays to attract shoppers. Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering new flowers and supplies, and ensuring freshness and quality standards are met. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, handle cash and card payments accurately, and process sales efficiently. Support outdoor work activities such as gardening and landscape maintenance when needed to enhance store surroundings. Communicate effectively with team members and customers via phone or in person to ensure a positive shopping experience. Requirements Proven experience in floral design or related creative fields; familiarity with floral arrangement techniques is highly preferred. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and gardening practices to assist customers effectively. Strong organizational skills for managing inventory, displays, and multiple customer requests simultaneously. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele. Prior experience with retail sales, merchandising, stocking, and POS systems to ensure smooth store operations. Outdoor work experience including lawn care or landscape maintenance is advantageous for supporting store grounds. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients of all backgrounds.
