This is a charming, hands-on role perfect for someone who loves people as much as they love beautiful things, and who's excited to grow their floral skills. What You'll Do Greet every patron who walks through the door with genuine warmth and make them feel welcome Take floral orders in person and over the phone with a friendly, confident manner Construct bouquets and arrangements Process incoming flowers (cutting, conditioning, prepping stems for display and design) Learn to recognize and correctly name the flowers and greenery we carry Develop working knowledge of our full product line — vases, home products, add-on gifts — and speak about them with confidence and enthusiasm Keep the shop looking fresh, tidy, and inviting throughout the day Support daily shop operations as needed (restocking, light cleaning, receiving deliveries) What We're Looking For Prior experience in floral, customer service, hospitality, or retail A naturally friendly, upbeat demeanor and genuine enjoyment of working with the public Comfort multitasking in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of ownership over your work Willingness to learn floral fundamentals on the job Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (buckets, deliveries, etc.) Nice to Have (Not Required) Experience in flowers, gardening, or design Experience in a small business or boutique retail setting Schedule Full-time, 40 hours per week Evening and weekend availability required Affiliated with
