Overview Join our vibrant team as a Part-Time Florist and Floral Designer, where creativity blossoms and customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do! Duties Create beautiful custom floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring each design meets quality standards and customer specifications, faux floral design is a plus Assist customers in selecting flowers and plants, offering expert advice on floral care and plant identification Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, handle cash and card payments accurately Process incoming flower shipments, including unboxing, trimming stems, conditioning flowers and maintenance of floral buckets and coolers Provide excellent customer service through friendly phone communication and in-person interactions, addressing inquiries promptly Delivery and set up of events maybe necessary during busy periods Experience Previous experience in floral design or floral shop operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with retail sales processes, POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering is advantageous Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with floral merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail math will support your success in this position Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30lbs Weekend availability and schedule flexibility, especially during peak floral holidays An outgoing positive attitude and a collaborative spirit are advantageous Join us to cultivate beauty every day!
