This position is for an experienced professional floral designer. Previous hands-on experience working in a professional flower shop or comparable floral business is required. Please do not apply if your floral experience is limited to personal arrangements, DIY projects, occasional weddings for friends or family, home-based hobby work, or simply an interest in learning floral design. We need someone who can step into a working flower shop and confidently design orders.

Responsibilities include:

Designing everyday floral arrangements Birthday, anniversary, sympathy and get-well designs Funeral and sympathy work, including standing sprays and larger pieces Corsages, boutonnieres and wearable flowers Working from recipes, photos and customer requests Creating attractive designer-choice arrangements Processing and caring for fresh flowers Maintaining an organized and clean design area Working efficiently during busy periods Helping with general flower shop production as needed

Requirements:

Professional floral design experience is

REQUIRED

Must be comfortable designing independently Must understand proper flower processing and care Must be able to work efficiently while maintaining quality Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team Retail flower shop experience strongly preferred We are an established, busy Las Vegas flower shop and are looking for someone who already knows the fundamentals of professional floral design.
