Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and a love for flowers and plants. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of our shop. You will also assist with e-commerce operations and contribute to sales efforts to ensure the success of our business. Duties Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, and special events. Provide knowledgeable advice to customers regarding flower selection, care, and arrangement styles. Manage inventory by stocking flowers, plants, and supplies while ensuring freshness and quality. Operate POS systems for processing sales transactions accurately. Assist with e-commerce initiatives by managing online orders and ensuring timely delivery. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop, including landscape maintenance of outdoor areas. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences while promoting additional products or services. Utilize retail math skills to track sales trends and manage inventory levels efficiently. Qualifications Previous experience as a Florist or in a related retail environment is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of landscape maintenance and gardening is a plus. Proficiency in e-commerce platforms is desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. A passion for flowers, design, and customer service is essential.
