Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Experienced Floral Designer to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will craft stunning floral arrangements for a variety of occasions, from weddings and events to everyday displays. Your creativity, technical expertise, and customer service skills will help bring our clients' visions to life while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where artistry meets retail excellence, ensuring every bouquet and centerpiece delights our customers. Responsibilities Design and create custom floral arrangements that meet clients' specifications and occasion requirements Maintain a well-organized floral department, including stock management and merchandising of flowers and related products Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in selecting floral designs, offering gardening advice, and answering product inquiries Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and inventory updates Identify various plants and flowers through plant identification skills to ensure quality control and proper care Manage outdoor work tasks such as lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general gardening to enhance the store's outdoor displays Support e-commerce operations by preparing online orders with attention to detail and timely fulfillment Requirements Proven experience in floral design with a strong portfolio showcasing your craftsmanship and creativity Resume with References Knowledge of horticulture and plant identification Must be available to work Holidays & Weekends Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Strong organizational skills for stock management, merchandising, and maintaining a clean workspace Experience with retail sales processes including cashiering, retail math, and POS systems Outdoor work experience including gardening or landscape maintenance is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding customer service Familiarity with floral design techniques, floral arrangement tools, and plant care essentials Join us to turn your passion for flowers into an inspiring career!
