Overview We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, horticulture, and customer service, with the ability to create stunning arrangements that meet our clients' needs. This role requires excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Must be able to work five days a week, including Saturdays. Responsibilities Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their floral selections and offering expert advice on care and maintenance. Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and manage cash handling procedures. Deliver floral arrangements in our delivery vehicles. Process cut flowers as they arrive. Some light greenhouse work on occasion. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient stocking of products and maintain an organized workspace. Working Saturdays required Increase to hours at busy holiday times are required. Experience Proven experience in floral design is required. Familiarity with retail sales practices, including cashiering and retail math skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are a plus. A background in customer service is essential for building rapport with clients and understanding their needs.
