Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development for toddlers Supervise children closely to ensure their safety and well-being at all times during indoor and outdoor activities Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and play Engage with children through interactive play, storytelling, music, and hands-on learning experiences Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures when necessary Skills Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision techniques Familiarity with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques for toddlers Ability to perform first aid and CPR confidently; pediatric first aid certification preferred Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm No weekends!
