Job Description

Creates, arranges, and maintains miniature indoor landscapes (dish gardens, terrariums, planter boxes) using diverse plant species and decorative elements. Selects appropriate flora based on environmental needs, and ensures long-term plant health, blending artistic design with horticultural knowledge to create aesthetically pleasing, small-scale arrangements. Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities Creates unique, aesthetic arrangements using combinations of succulents, tropical plants, mosses, and decorative elements (rocks, figurines). Chooses appropriate plants based on lighting, moisture, and compatibility for indoor, enclosed, or semi-enclosed containers. Assembles containers, prepare soil mediums, and arrange plants according to design concepts. Provides ongoing care, including watering, pruning, pest control, and cleaning to ensure longevity. Runs the cash register occasionally. Requirement Strong knowledge of indoor plants, tropicals, and succulents. An eye for design, color, balance, and composition. Previous experience in floral design, landscaping, or greenhouse work is preferred. Creativity and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Time management to meet production deadlines Ability to collaborate with others in a teamwork setting. Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Physical Demands Prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting and climbing at various heights may be required.
