Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Master Floral Designer to lead our floral department with creativity, precision, and enthusiasm. In this role, you will craft stunning floral arrangements that delight customers and elevate our store's visual appeal. Your expertise in floral design, combined with strong organizational and customer service skills, will ensure an exceptional shopping experience. As a key team member, you will also oversee floral stock management, merchandising, and provide guidance to junior staff, fostering a vibrant and welcoming environment for all visitors. Responsibilities Create beautiful, innovative floral arrangements tailored to customer preferences and seasonal themes Assist customers with floral selections, offering expert advice on plant care, design ideas, and event arrangements Manage floral inventory by stocking fresh flowers, plants, and related supplies efficiently and accurately Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral department to ensure a professional appearance Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and processing payments smoothly Support merchandising efforts by setting up attractive displays that highlight seasonal trends and best-selling products Provide training and mentorship to junior floral staff to enhance their design skills and product knowledge Craft personalized proposals for weddings, birthdays, galas, and other events; coordinate event as needed; set-up and tear-down as required on day of event Skills Extensive experience in floral design with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant identification, and creative design Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and cash handling procedures Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Ability to perform both indoor and outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online product promotion or sales is advantageous Exceptional organizational skills for stock management, merchandising setup, and workflow efficiency Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to engage positively via phone communication or face-to-face interactions Knowledge of retail sales techniques to drive sales growth through effective upselling and product recommendations Join us as a Master Floral Designer to bring beauty into everyday life while working in a dynamic environment that values creativity, teamwork, and excellence.
