Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and creative Floral Designer to join our team. In this role, you will craft stunning floral arrangements, assist customers with their selections, and contribute to the overall aesthetic of our shop. This paid position offers opportunities for growth and development within a vibrant retail setting, with training provided for those new to floral design. Responsibilities Create custom floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail Assist customers in selecting flowers and designing arrangements that meet their needs and preferences Maintain the floral display area, ensuring it is organized, clean, and visually appealing Manage inventory levels of flowers, foliage, and supplies through stock monitoring and merchandising Support daily shop operations including stocking shelves, processing sales through POS (Point of Sale) systems, and handling cash transactions Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries both in person and via phone communication Identify different types of plants and flowers to advise customers accurately on care and selection Requirements Previous experience in floral design or related outdoor work experience preferred; however, training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, plant identification, and landscape maintenance is advantageous Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, cash handling, merchandising, stocking, and cashiering procedures Passion for floral artistry combined with outdoor work experience or gardening background Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed If you are enthusiastic about creating beautiful floral designs while delivering outstanding customer service in a lively retail environment, we encourage you to apply today.
