Our Apprenticely Internship Program is a three-month program that places selected candidates with employers across Arkansas in IT positions to gain experience under the guidance of a professional mentor/IT support team. The Scott Family Amazeum is a hands-on, interactive museum in Northwest Arkansas and recognized as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to engage the imagination of children and their families through interactive exhibits, programs, and resources while creating an excitement for lifelong learning and the enrichment of lives! Through experiences with the Amazeum, individuals and the community are engaged in building relationships and developing identities as creative, curious, and innovative shapers for the region. Learning at the Amazeum is an active, playful exploration that inspires curiosity. It is rooted in inquiry-based discovery and involves an element of risk. Hands-on learning opportunities allow guests to exercise critical thinking in the context of play. What You'll Do... Design and develop marketing materials such as digital ads, social media graphics, and print materials that are visually appealing and effectively communicate the Amazeum's intended message. Collaborate ccross-functionally to gather design requirements and feedback, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines. Manage and maintain the organization's website and social media presence, ensuring that content is up-to-date, accurate, and optimized for search engines. Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement Organize and manage digital assets such as photos, videos, and graphics for easy access and sharing. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and design software to continuously improve design skills and techniques. Our Must Haves... Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, iOS, Final Cut Pro, or other similar tools. A thorough understanding of branding and marketing Knowledge or experience with content creation, management, or production Basic coding experience with HTML, Java, and CSS An online portfolio that demonstrates skills and creativity Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Exhibited technical aptitude through projects, experience, or online learning and ability to communicate what you know Ability to pass a standard background check and standard drug screen Current Arkansas state resident Ability to work full-time in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorship
