Our Fremont office is located in a vibrant business district surrounded by major companies like Tesla and Seagate, along with a variety of restaurants and shops. Position Overview We are looking for a Graphic Technician - Seasonal (Holiday Season) to join our Graphic Room team. This role plays an essential part in preparing production files, operating printing equipment, ensuring print quality, and supporting high-volume output during the busy holiday season. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive team player — recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Job Summary Operating and maintaining printing equipment, preparing files for production, ensuring print quality, and managing supplies. Key responsibilities include receiving and preparing job files, operating digital, large-format, performing quality checks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and keeping a clean and organized workspace Core duties File preparation: Receive and check electronic files, manipulate files using software like Adobe products or Microsoft Office, and prepare files for printing.
Machine operation:
Operate a variety of equipment, such as digital printers, wide-format printers, and finishing machines (e.g., cutters, folders, binders).
Production and quality control:
Monitor print jobs for accuracy, color quality, and consistency, ensuring they meet job specifications and quality standards.
Equipment maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on printing equipment. Troubleshoot problems and contact service providers for more complex issues.
Inventory and supplies:
Maintain an inventory of supplies like paper, toner, and ink, and manage their replenishment. Key skills and qualifications Technical skills: Proficiency with printing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office) and the ability to operate a range of printing and finishing equipment.
Attention to detail:
Crucial for checking files for accuracy and ensuring high-quality output.
Troubleshooting:
Ability to identify and resolve issues with equipment or print jobs.
Organization:
A need to keep a clean and organized workspace and manage multiple jobs efficiently.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with the team members about order progress and issues Adherence to deadlines: Ability to work under pressure to produce quality work and meet production deadlines.
Physical Ability:
Must be able to carry 10lbs - 15lbs
Working Schedule:
We are looking for two employees: Position 1: Evening shift, Tuesday-Saturday. Position 2: Night shift, Monday, Wednesday-Friday, and Sunday.
Hours:
30 hours minimum to 40 hours maximum per week.

$24.00 per hour
