Santa Ana, CA Job Details Full-time $55,000 - $70,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Project management Sign manufacturing CorelDRAW Professional art or design Layout design Full Job Description Stanco Signage Systems is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer with sign industry experience to create production-ready artwork, permit drawings, and fabrication detail packages for custom signage projects. Responsibilities
  • Create sign layouts and presentation drawings for client approval
  • Develop permit-ready sign plans for city submittals
  • Produce fabrication drawings and shop detail packages
  • Create accurate sign elevations, sections, and installation details
  • Prepare artwork files for production and fabrication
  • Coordinate with project managers, sales staff, and production personnel
  • Review municipal sign codes and incorporate requirements into permit packages
  • Create visual renderings and photo simulations when required
  • Maintain drawing standards and document control Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of sign industry design experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience with CorelDRAW preferred
  • Experience creating permit drawings and city submittal packages
  • Ability to generate fabrication detail drawings and shop drawings
  • Understanding of channel letters, monument signs, cabinet signs, ADA signage, and architectural signage
  • Knowledge of construction drawings and scale measurements
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Preferred Skills
  • CorelDraw experience
  • FlexiSign experience
  • Knowledge of local sign ordinances and permitting requirements
  • Experience preparing electrical and structural sign details
  • Experience creating installation drawings and site plans Benefits
