May produce documents and printed materials using desktop publishing software and equipment. May work for a publishing company or provide printed business or marketing material for business clients.

Job Description
- Create sign layouts and presentation drawings for client approval
- Develop permit-ready sign plans for city submittals
- Produce fabrication drawings and shop detail packages
- Create accurate sign elevations, sections, and installation details
- Prepare artwork files for production and fabrication
- Coordinate with project managers, sales staff, and production personnel
- Review municipal sign codes and incorporate requirements into permit packages
- Create visual renderings and photo simulations when required
- Maintain drawing standards and document control Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of sign industry design experience preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience with CorelDRAW preferred
- Experience creating permit drawings and city submittal packages
- Ability to generate fabrication detail drawings and shop drawings
- Understanding of channel letters, monument signs, cabinet signs, ADA signage, and architectural signage
- Knowledge of construction drawings and scale measurements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Preferred Skills
- CorelDraw experience
- FlexiSign experience
- Knowledge of local sign ordinances and permitting requirements
- Experience preparing electrical and structural sign details
