Position Summary We are seeking a junior-to-mid-level graphic designer to support the day-to-day execution of creative work across packaging, product photography, e-commerce, digital marketing, and other brand initiatives. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for a designer who has strong creative instincts and also enjoys the detailed production work required to bring ideas to life. Working closely with the Art Director, this person will help move projects from concept through final execution. They should take direction well, ask thoughtful questions, maintain a high level of accuracy, and be able to work independently once expectations are established. The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, organized, adaptable, and genuinely motivated by producing high-quality work. Key Responsibilities Graphic Design and Production Execute creative assets for packaging, e-commerce, digital marketing, social media, and other brand touchpoints. Translate creative direction, brand guidelines, and established concepts into polished, effective designs. Apply strong design fundamentals, including typography, composition, hierarchy, color, layout, and visual communication. Handle revisions, copy changes, and other production-focused design tasks. Maintain visual consistency across products, campaigns, platforms, and asset variations. Carefully proof designs for copy accuracy, alignment, image quality, specifications, and overall consistency. Organize working files, linked assets, fonts, versions, and final deliverables so projects can be easily accessed and updated. Balance creative quality with speed, accuracy, and practical production requirements. Packaging Design and Production Design and execute packaging graphics for a variety of consumer products. Work accurately within existing packaging systems, templates, specifications, and approved creative direction. Make packaging updates such as copy revisions, color changes, SKU variations, regulatory edits, and format adaptations. Collaborate with the Art Director and internal partners to ensure packaging clearly communicates the product concept and brand story. Identify potential design or production issues and raise questions before files move forward. Photography and Image Production Photography editing and retouching to ensure final imagery meets creative and brand standards and meets marketplace requirements. Support the planning and execution of product photography and lifestyle photo shoots. Assist with photo shoot preparation, including shot lists, creative direction, prop/product coordination, and production needs. Assist with organizing, reviewing, and managing photography assets for use across e-commerce and digital marketing channels. Digital and E-Commerce Creative Design and produce creative assets for Amazon, e-commerce marketplaces, digital advertising, and other online channels. Create and adapt graphics for product listings, enhanced content, storefronts, campaigns, and promotional initiatives. Follow marketplace requirements and established templates to ensure assets are accurate and ready for upload. Support routine updates to existing digital content as products, messaging, or platform requirements change. AI and Emerging Creative Tools Use AI-assisted creative tools when appropriate to support image editing, concept exploration, production efficiency, and creative problem-solving. Evaluate AI-generated output carefully and refine it to meet brand, quality, and accuracy standards. Stay curious about emerging creative technologies and identify practical ways to improve workflows without compromising quality. Project Support and Creative Operations Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining organization and attention to detail. Track project requirements, deadlines, deliverables, and outstanding needs. Communicate project status, questions, and potential challenges clearly and proactively. Adapt quickly when priorities change or projects require a creative pivot. Work independently while knowing when to seek direction, clarification, or feedback. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Approximately 2-4 years of professional, freelance, internship, or equivalent hands-on graphic design experience. A portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and polished execution across a range of assets. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong understanding of typography, composition, layout, color, hierarchy, and visual communication. Experience preparing clean, accurate files for production or final delivery. Strong photo-editing, image-retouching, and compositing skills. Experience creating digital marketing or e-commerce assets. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and asset versions. Comfort performing repetitive, technical, and production-oriented tasks with consistency and care. Ability to follow established creative direction and brand standards while applying sound design judgment. Ability to receive feedback professionally and execute revisions accurately. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently once direction is established while collaborating effectively with the team. Ability to prioritize competing assignments and adjust quickly when project needs change. A proactive, dependable, and solutions-oriented approach to work. Ability to work onsite in the company's Orange County, California office four days per week. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience designing packaging for consumer products or CPG brands. Familiarity with packaging dielines, prepress, print production, proofs, and vendor specifications. Experience creating Amazon marketplace content, including listing images, A+ Content, storefront graphics, or advertising assets. Experience supporting professional product or lifestyle photo shoots. Experience creating digital advertising or video advertising assets. Familiarity with AI-powered image-generation, image-editing, or creative-production workflows. Interest in food, cooking, entertaining, or food-related products. Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven in-house creative environment.
