Free Sunshields is a rapidly growing custom apparel company specializing in high quality sun protection clothing for businesses, organizations, and outdoor enthusiasts. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a talented Graphic Designer who is excited to grow with us. This position is much more than creating artwork. You'll play a key role in helping customers bring their ideas to life while ensuring their orders move efficiently through our production process. You'll work closely with our customers and production team in a fast paced environment where organization, communication, and attention to detail are essential. What You'll Do Create professional digital mockups and artwork proofs for customer approval. Design and modify customer artwork using Adobe Creative Suite. Communicate with customers by email and phone regarding artwork approvals and revisions. Follow up with customers to obtain artwork approvals and answer design related questions. Organize approved proofs and prepare production paperwork. Print approved proofs and production documents to keep orders moving through the production queue. Ensure artwork files are production ready and accurately organized. Collaborate closely with our production team to keep orders moving efficiently. Help maintain an exceptional customer experience from design through production. Contribute ideas and help improve internal processes as the company grows. Create and Develop new product offerings Work closely with the Design Team and Customers to help with creating custom designs and build brands. Create new and unique shirt designs. Required Qualifications Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong illustration and graphic design skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a close knit team. Self motivated with the ability to solve problems independently. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Shopify. Experience in the apparel or promotional products industry. Experience creating apparel graphics and preparing artwork for production. Experience working with commercial printers or preparing files for garment printing, DTF, sublimation, or embroidery. Knowledge of apparel decoration methods and production workflows. Experience managing customer artwork approvals.
