Jog Road, Greenacres 36331 Performs graphic work in the illustration, design, and layout of visual communications media. Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selecting style and size of type, and arranging layout. Designs brochures, posters, forms, letterhead, business cards, envelopes, newsletters, fliers, logos and signs; assists other Designers and computer users in understanding graphics hardware/software and implementing software programs. Work is performed under the general supervision of an administrative superior and is reviewed by the requesting department.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires qualified applicants to possess one of the following: Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of two (2) years of experience in Macintosh Desktop Publishing, offset pre-press, or commercial art.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications include (must specify on application) : Experience in data integration or printing, Experience designing posters, brochures, signs, newsletters and/or logos, Experience creating graphics that meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance/accessibility requirements, Experience with branding guidelines that meet organizational requirements, Experience using Fiery Command Workstation, and Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
