Graphic Designer - Sign Industry MMD Signs Lansing, MI Job Details Full-time $18 - $24 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Paid time off On-the-job training Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our sign company. This position is responsible for creating attractive, accurate designs for signs, vehicle graphics, banners, decals, and other printed materials. The ideal candidate can communicate with customers, manage multiple projects, and prepare accurate artwork for production. Sign-industry experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities
  • Create designs for signs, banners, vehicle graphics, decals, and other products
  • Prepare customer proofs and make requested revisions
  • Communicate with customers to understand their design needs
  • Set up accurate, production-ready artwork
  • Review spelling, measurements, colors, and design details before production
  • Recreate logos and convert artwork into usable vector files
  • Prepare files for printing, cutting, and vinyl production
  • Follow company branding and customer specifications
  • Organize and maintain digital artwork and production files
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Help with vinyl preparation, printing, or other shop duties as needed Qualifications
  • Graphic design experience is preferred
  • Experience with Flexi or similar design software
  • Understanding of typography, color, layout, and visual balance
  • Ability to create and edit vector artwork
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good spelling, measuring, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow customer instructions and make revisions
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
