Overview We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic and Packaging Designer to join our creative team. This role focuses on designing compelling packaging solutions for home textiles, including pillows, blankets, throws, sheets, comforters, and other basic or utility bedding products. The ideal candidate will have experience in home textiles and a strong understanding of various packaging formats such as corrugated boxes, poly bags, non-woven materials, inserts, and related packaging types. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the visual identity and functional packaging of our products, ensuring they stand out on shelves while maintaining practicality and brand consistency. Responsibilities Develop innovative and functional packaging designs tailored specifically for home textile products like pillows, blankets, throws, sheets, and comforters. Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to create packaging that aligns with brand identity and product specifications. Design packaging layouts considering all aspects of the product presentation, protection, and ease of use. Work with various packaging materials including corrugated cartons, poly bags, non-woven fabrics, inserts, and other packaging formats to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. Create detailed design prototypes and production-ready files for manufacturing. Incorporate user feedback and industry trends to refine packaging concepts continuously. Ensure all designs meet safety standards and compliance requirements relevant to home textile packaging. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints. Stay updated on industry best practices in graphic design and packaging innovation within the home textiles sector. Requirements Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio demonstrating packaging design expertise. Prior experience working with home textiles is highly preferred; familiarity with pillows, blankets, throws, sheets, comforters, or similar products is a major plus. Knowledge of various packaging types such as corrugated boxes, poly bags, non-woven materials, inserts, etc., with the ability to design for each format effectively. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent tools. Strong understanding of branding principles and visual storytelling through packaging. Excellent attention to detail and ability to translate conceptual ideas into practical designs suitable for manufacturing. Ability to work collaboratively across teams while managing multiple projects independently. Good communication skills to present ideas clearly and incorporate feedback effectively. Knowledge of safety standards and compliance related to home textile packaging is desirable.
