Job Description

Part-Time 3 days/week (20-24 hours)
Location:
Administrative Office (Hybrid) All Marketing & Communications team members are required to work on-site during their first ninety (90) days of employment to become familiar with the organization's culture, departments, programs, systems, and brand standards. Following successful completion of the onboarding period: Employees are required to work on-site every Monday. Employees may establish a consistent hybrid work schedule with approval from the Director of Marketing & Communications. Schedule changes must be approved in advance by the Director. Graphic Designer Position Overview The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling, professional, and brand-consistent marketing and communication materials that support the mission of Elizabeth's New Life Center. This position plays a critical role in protecting and advancing the organization's visual identity by producing creative assets that communicate with excellence, consistency, and purpose across all departments and organizational pillars. The Graphic Designer works closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications to translate strategic direction into high-quality visual communications that strengthen the organization's credibility, increase community engagement, and reflect the professionalism of a ministry serving families for more than 35 years. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a cohesive and elevated brand experience across every project. Key Responsibilities Design professional print and digital marketing materials that support the organization's ministries, programs, fundraising efforts, events, and community outreach. Create brochures, flyers, signage, presentations, reports, advertisements, direct mail pieces, newsletters, promotional materials, and other visual communications. Maintain and strengthen the visual consistency of Elizabeth's New Life Center's brand across all departments and organizational initiatives. Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Communications to develop creative concepts and execute strategic marketing campaigns. Prepare production-ready artwork and coordinate printing specifications for all assigned projects. Manage assigned design projects from concept through final production, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion. Work directly with printers and production vendors to ensure final products meet organizational quality standards. Maintain organized design files, templates, and brand assets for future use. Assist in the ongoing development and refinement of organizational templates and visual standards. Stay informed on current design trends, software, and best practices while maintaining a timeless, professional aesthetic appropriate for the organization. Support multiple departments by delivering creative solutions that effectively communicate the mission and services of Elizabeth's New Life Center. Required Skills and Qualifications Demonstrated experience in graphic design with a strong professional portfolio. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, branding, and print production. Ability to design for both print and digital platforms. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to receive creative direction and implement feedback professionally. Personal commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
