The Graphic Production Designer works as a core member of Yakima's design team, bridging the gap between creative concepting and final delivery. This role ensures consistency across all design touchpoints, manages creative assets, and delivers production-ready files for both print and digital channels.

YOUR TYPICAL TASKS AND DUTIES
Create clear, brand relevant and user-friendly product instructions for all regions Design and produce packaging layouts aligned with brand standards for global markets Manage and organize creative assets and templates through Yakima image bank Support layout design for workbooks, catalogs, and digital collateral Develop advertising and campaign visuals for print, web, and social Prepare accurate, production-ready files and liaise with vendors for quality control Meet deadlines while striving for quality, efficiency, effectiveness and accuracy Collaborate with internal teams including product, marketing, sales, product development and outside vendors to concept, design, and execute against given brief Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across all deliverables as directed by the Creative Director Maintain archives, records and digital files for graphic projects and original artwork. Be a leader in maintaining the brand voice and a consistency throughout all brand visuals Carry out other duties, responsibilities, and projects as may be assigned, in an effective manner
EXPERIENCE WE'RE EXCITED FOR YOU TO HIGHLIGHT
Bachelors of Arts or Science Degree in graphic arts, graphic design or similar design- oriented Bachelors qualification 3 years of graphic production design experience in-house, or agency preferred Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop A strong portfolio displaying creative, conceptual design skills across various digital and print platform Solid foundation in typography, layout, and general design Ability to work on several concurrent projects and manage time wisely Very organized and maintains file structure Basic administrative skills, attention to detail, time management skills required Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and task management software Ability to cooperatively interact and communicate well with inter-departmental personnel Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment Demonstrate the ability to be flexible, accept new ideas and input positively, and be open to new work approaches and processes.
