Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Proposal Graphic Artist for the Business Development Capture Excellence Proposal Management team. The Proposal Graphic Artist creates clear, compelling visual communications for high‑priority competitive proposals. You will work closely with proposal managers, capture managers, volume leads, and authors to translate complex technical and management concepts into graphics that clearly communicate our solution, win themes, and discriminators in alignment with customer solicitation instructions and Northrop Grumman branding standards. This position is on site in Redondo Beach, CA or Dulles, VA and may require up to 25% travel to support proposal team collaboration and secure program needs. This position is contingent upon customer final approval Responsibilities- Design and produce high-quality proposal graphics for competitive proposals and other capture/proposal artifacts.
- Recommend visual approaches that strengthen customer understanding and evaluation.
- Develop initial concepts; iterate based on proposal team feedback under tight deadlines.
- Ensure graphics are compliant with solicitation instructions and consistent with corporate branding and proposal style guides.
- Maintain a consistent visual look and feel across volumes.
- Contribute to a reusable library of proposal graphics, templates, and visual standards; share best practices across the proposal management community.
- Provide graphics development training to proposal teams.
- Manage multiple, concurrent graphics requests and adjust priorities in response to changing proposal needs and schedules. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience; or master's degree and 3 years of related experience.
- Experience creating graphics or visual layouts for complex technical or business content.
- Proficiency with graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or equivalent.
- Strong visual communication and information design skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with geographically distributed teams and incorporate iterative feedback.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required at time of application. Preferred Qualifications
