• primarily inward-facing, this core value is about ensuring that team members are supporting each other in meeting their personal and professional goals and never doing anything to interfere with individual or team success The Position DIZPOT's Packaging & Brand Designer is responsible for creating packaging artwork, logos, brand assets, and visual identity solutions for clients across the cannabis and consumer packaged goods industries.

This is not a traditional graphic design position. We are seeking a packaging and branding specialist who understands the intersection of design, manufacturing, consumer behavior, and commercial success. This role collaborates directly with customers, Account Executives, and internal teams to develop compelling packaging and branding solutions that support customer success and business growth. The ideal candidate possesses strong creative skills, an understanding of packaging production processes, and a passion for brand development. The Packaging & Brand Designer will support projects from concept through production while continuing to develop expertise in packaging systems, branding, and dieline creation. Unlike a traditional design firm, DIZPOT brings brands to life through packaging at a pace that sets us apart from competitors. This role requires a designer who can combine strong creative judgment with speed, precision, and production awareness. The ideal candidate can deliver high-quality, client-ready work in a fast-paced environment while balancing creative vision, manufacturability, brand impact, and business needs. Responsibilities Design custom packaging solutions that align with client objectives and brand standards. Create logos, brand assets, and visual identity components. Develop and revise packaging artwork using established or newly developed dielines. Prepare production-ready files according to print and manufacturing specifications. Collaborate directly with customers and Account Executives to understand project goals and creative requirements. Participate in customer meetings and sales calls as needed. Support new business opportunities through packaging concepts, mockups, and presentation materials. Revise artwork and creative deliverables based on customer and internal feedback. Maintain organization of project files, assets, and supporting documentation. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and project success. Stay current on packaging trends, branding techniques, and industry best practices. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as business needs evolve. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional graphic design experience. Experience utilizing AI-assisted creative tools and workflows. Understanding of print production and packaging fundamentals. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Experience developing:

Packaging artwork Brand assets Logos Print-ready creative files Proficiency in: Adobe Illustrator Adobe InDesign Adobe Photoshop Adobe Creative Cloud Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred. Consumer packaged goods (CPG) packaging experience. Cannabis packaging experience. Experience creating and modifying packaging dielines. Experience supporting customer-facing design projects. Work Environment & Travel Phoenix-area candidates are preferred and will have the opportunity to collaborate onsite from DIZPOT Headquarters. Remote candidates may be considered based on exceptional experience, portfolio quality, and alignment with DIZPOT's culture and core values. Limited travel may be required for: Customer visits Industry trade shows Packaging expos Company events and initiatives Application Requirement Candidates must submit a portfolio for review along with their application. Portfolios should include relevant examples of packaging design, logo creation, brand identity development, dieline work, and production-ready artwork. Applications submitted without a portfolio may not be considered.
