THE ROLE
Assistant or Associate Product Designer
•Applicants must include: Cover Letter, Online Portfolio with examples of Illustration Design and 3D Renderings. Responsibilities Utilize composed art and style guides to create concept sketches, 3D Files, and Specification Sheets (tech packs) for product development. Work alongside Director of Product Management and Development Coordinator to manage leadtime and progress of samples. Review and submit comments on development samples to vendors. Create collateral assets for products (ie packaging design, labels, hangtags etc) Create digital assets for web, email, social media. Requirements Highly motivated, self-starter, proactive and team-oriented Strong project management skills, can manage multiple deadlines High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Strong Color Sense Understands Kawaii Culture Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional email etiquette. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills required Nomad Sculpt or similar 3D render software experience required Experience with Excel, Google Docs
EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE
3 - 5+ years of Related Professional Experience (Must include Cover Letter and link to portfolio for consideration) Bachelor's degree in Illustration, Product Design, Toy Design or related field Experience in Gift and Toy industry preferred.
