HOW, a smart home technology company in Naperville, IL, and we're not building a small business. We're building something a lot bigger than we currently look like from the outside. We install audio, video, networking, surveillance, lighting, and shade solutions. We do it the same reliable, repeatable, best-practice way, every single time. No guesswork. No reinventing the wheel on every job. No "figure it out as you go" to install these reliable smart home solutions. We're early. That's the opportunity. The person who takes this role helps build the systems that will still be running MGKH five years from now and gets to say they built it. Who You Are You might come from the smart home world. You might not. Our systems are simple enough by design that raw industry experience isn't the requirement.

What is required:

• You see the gap between "good enough" and "right" and it bothers you until it's closed
• You can build a process from nothing and document it so someone else could run it
• You can say no to a discount request without losing your cool or the customer
• You move fast without cutting corners speed and precision aren't a tradeoff to you. They're both the job
• You want to be great at this and you know that "great" here means making the whole team better, not standing above it. You're an important ingredient in something bigger than any one person, including the owner. What You'll Do
• Turn sales consultations into complete, accurate estimates

THE SAME DAY.

Ideally within the hour

• Protect company margin on every quote
• Design smart home systems that are simple, reliable, and priced right the first time
• Know installer labor and pricing well enough that every line item is honest and accurate
• Support installers on the software side of every system. Make sure OvrC is set up correctly on every job, and eero Insight is logged and accessible for ongoing monitoring
• Build the templates, SOPs, and video content that let this role scale You Must
• Be able to work on-site at our Naperville office, full-time
• Be comfortable being the "no" in the room when margin is on the line
• Want to build something from scratch, not maintain something that already exists
• Be in it for the long haul. We're not looking for a job hopper If you didn't say yes to all of that, this isn't your role. That's fine. We'd rather know now than in 90 days. What We Offer
