Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Layout Designer to join our news team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a precise visually compelling layouts for a variety of projects. Your expertise will help produce a clear, detailed news paper that meet industry standards and client specifications. Duties Lay content out in proper format for submission to Printing. Includes saving files as .PDF, combing files, and transmitting to Courier staff. Collaborate with team members and project managers to interpret design requirements and translate them into accurate layouts and system designs. Communicate with vendors the knowledge and assessments to ensure precision in system layout and component placement in vendors schedule. Utilize Indsign software for product layouts Support web teams with detailed documentation, and layouts during project execution. Requirements Products / Tools Use all Adobe products InDesign Layout Photoshop periodically Firefly AI Use WORD for articles Some forms are in Excel Email, of course!
